Start:

Ezekiel Elliott, DAL, @ CIN

Ezekiel Elliott has not been an RB1 since Dak Prescott went down with an injury. Most weeks, it’s really a question if he should be started at all. This week is one we believe that yes, he should not only be out there for you but be viewed as an RB1 again. We don’t see the Cincinnati Bengals being able to stop Zeke, so expect the Cowboys to feed him early and often.

David Montgomery, CHI, vs. HOU

David Montgomery has been feasting the past two weeks and there’s no reason to think that will change against the porous rushing defense of the Houston Texans. Roll him out there and enjoy what could be low-RB1 numbers. Perhaps Montgomery has finally turned the corner to being a top NFL running back.

Jonathan Taylor, IND, @ LV

Jonathan Taylor fell out of favor in Frank Reich‘s offense in the middle of the season but has found that explosiveness that excited fantasy fans earlier this year. He now has the Las Vegas Raiders in front of him, a team that let up over 150 yards rushing to the Jets’ duo of Ty Johnson and Josh Adams. Yeah, Taylor is going to feast.

Sit:

Damien Harris, NE, @ LAR

Damien Harris can be solid for teams but is often vultured by Cam Newton when it comes to scoring touchdowns. A game against the Rams sets up to be a difficult night as is, making him a must sit for any owner who hopes of continuing in the playoffs.

Chase Edmonds, ARI, @ NYG

Chase Edmonds was a fantasy darling for a while there, providing great use as an RB2 with or without Kenyan Drake on the field. Unfortunately, Drake has taken over a lot of the touches for the Arizona Cardinals, making him a true change of pace back moving forward. Leave him on the bench and start someone else.

David Johnson, HOU, @ CHI

David Johnson returned for the Houston Texans and was relatively solid in a tough matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. This week’s game against the Chicago Bears should be seen as the same, but their focus on the run makes Johnson a tougher start than he was last week. Sit him if you can.
