Once again, the Dallas Cowboys are bad and Lamar Jackson is back to being good.

Lamar Jackson still is a sound quarterback despite his recent struggles. All it takes is one good game to reset the tone and prove things could be trending in the right direction.

Whenever a struggling quarterback plays the Dallas Cowboys‘ defense, it’s always a positive.

During the closing minutes of the first quarter, the Baltimore Ravens elected to go for it on fourth-and short. With a designed quarterback run, the third-year pro took it right up the gut and into the second line of the Cowboys’ defense.

Where were the linebackers? Both going through “B” gap and Jackson went right through the “A” hole. Just 37 yards later, Jackson would find the end zone to give the Ravens a 7-3 lead.

Is Lamar Jackson back to normal form?

Jackson’s passing attack still should worry the Ravens as they look to make a push for the postseason. Going 5-of-6 for 28 yards, Baltimore’s opening drive ended in an interception by Darian Thompson.

The Cowboys would strike first on a 31-yard field goal from Greg Zuerlein.

Jackson leads the team rushing with 52 yards on four carries. The Ravens desperately needs for their franchise guy to step up big against one the league’s worst defenses.

The rushing attack has been successful all season long. Here’s hoping things through the aerial attack will pick up entering the second half before it’s too late.
