NFL quarterback rankings, Week 14: Aaron Rodgers has Packers rolling
2020 stats: 3,300 yards | 64.8 completion % | 28 TDs | 11 INTs | 7.0YPA | 69.7 QBR
Last Week: 9
Brady’s season will be defined by what we see going forward. There’s a good chance the Buccaneers make the playoffs with Brady throwing for 4,500 yards and 40 touchdowns, and yet it’ll be considered a disappointment if Tampa Bay doesn’t make a run.
2020 stats: 2,997 yards | 64.9 completion % | 26 TDs | 5 INTs | 7.9 YPA | 76.8 QBR
Last Week: 8
Admittedly, this feels high for Tannehill. Yet who should be placed ahead of him? The Titans are 8-4 largely because of their offense, Corey Davis and A.J. Brown are on pace for 1,000-yard campaigns, and Tannehill likely hits 4,000 yards and 35 touchdown passes with less than 10 interceptions. Great year.
2020 stats: 3,403 yards | 68.8 completion % | 26 TDs | 8 INTs | 7.8 YPA | 75.4 QBR
Last Week: 5
By all rights, Allen should move up this week, he’s just hitting the absolute upper crust. He went for 375 yards and four touchdowns against the 49ers, throwing from all platforms. In a word, fantastic. Buffalo finally has its quarterback.
2020 stats: 3,479 yards | 70.0 completion % | 32 TDs | 11 INTs | 8.0 YPA | 70.6 QBR
Last Week: 3
Wilson is legitimately in a slump right now. The Seahawks desperately need him to rediscover his September form, but it hasn’t happened over the past month. Over the past five games, Wilson has thrown six touchdowns against five interceptions while being sacked 21 times. It’s not been pretty.
2020 stats: 3,542 yards | 68.8 completion % | 24 TDs | 6 INTs | 8.8 YPA | 72.1 QBR
Last Week: 4
Can you imagine if Watson played for a real team? Against a good Colts defense, Watson went for 341 passing yards despite being without Will Fuller all game, and Brandin Cooks for a stretch on Sunday. If not for a bad snap, the Texans probably pull the upset.
2020 stats: 3,395 yards | 68.9 completion % | 36 TDs | 4 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 84.6 QBR
Last Week: 2
Welcome to the MVP debate. Rodgers has more touchdowns than Mahomes, has a slightly higher completion rate and is doing so with Davante Adams and little else in terms of receiving weaponry. Is he the MVP? It’s a tough call, but Rodgers has two primetime games left to make his case.
2020 stats: 3,815 yards | 68.3 completion % | 31 TDs | 2 INTs | 8.2 YPA | 85.8 QBR
Last Week: 1
Mahomes has to be considered the leader for MVP right now, even if the lead is slight. He’s leading in passing yards, QBR and fewest INTs among qualified quarterbacks. He’s having an absurd year for the defending champs, who clinched a playoff spot on Sunday.
