10. player. 45. . Quarterback. Denver Broncos. Trey Lance

The Denver Broncos still do not know what they have in Drew Lock, who can look very good one week, and look like a backup quarterback the next. John Elway has been looking for his next franchise guy since Peyton Manning retired, so it would not be out of the realm of possibility for him to roll the dice on a quarterback again.

Trey Lance is a guy who could find himself in the top-three next year, depending on what kind of teams jockey for position at the top of the first round. He has an incredible arm, has a high football IQ, and if the Broncos continue to struggle down the stretch, Lock may be done.

58. . Quarterback. Washington Commanders. Zach Wilson. 11. player

The Washington Football Team slew the dragon on Monday night, as they went into Pittsburgh and knocked off the undefeated Steelers. With the win, the WFT is still very much alive in the NFC East battle, but going forward, they have to decide what they want to do at the quarterback position.

Washington used a first-round pick on Dwayne Haskins a few years back, but they have since ended that experiment. With pick No. 11, they could decide to select Zach Wilson, a talented young quarterback from BYU who would benefit from learning behind Alex Smith for at least a year or two.

Wide Receiver. Detroit Lions. DeVonta Smith. 12. player. 50.

The Detroit Lions have a lot of work to do in terms of the franchise next offseason, and that includes finding a head coach. In addition, they have to decide whether or not Matthew Stafford is still the answer at quarterback, and while I believe he should be, you never know with this organization.

One thing they should do is use a first-round pick on a wide receiver, especially if they are going to decide to bring Stafford back. DeVonta Smith is the kind of game-breaker this team has been missing since Calvin Johnson retired, and would be an excellent fit on this offense.
