Green Bay Packers (9-3) at Detroit Lions (5-7), 4:25 pm

Packers: Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is enjoying quite the season and has had quite a lot of success against the rival Lions throughout his career. In 21 career games and starts vs. Detroit, the prolific signal-caller has thrown for 5,372 yards, 43 touchdowns compared to only eight interceptions and the team has forged a solid 16-5 record.

Lions: In his first game as the team’s interim head coach, Darrell Bevell’s club rallied to beat the Bears in Chicago. The Lions own the fifth-worst ground game in the league in terms of yards but could have some success against Green Bay’s mediocre run defense. But Detroit’s defense has managed only 19 sacks in a dozen contests this year.

Atlanta Falcons (4-8) at Los Angeles Chargers (3-9), 4:25 pm

Falcons: The club had struggled vs. AFC teams in recent seasons but this year, the club is 2-0 in interconference action. The Falcons outlasted the Broncos and routed the Raiders in recent weeks and now head to Los Angeles to take on the 3-9 Bolts. Atlanta’s 30th-ranked pass defense could struggle against Chargers’ rookie Justin Herbert.

Chargers: Last week’s 45-0 home setback to the Patriots was a complete disaster in all three phases of the game. Now the club looks to rebound against the visiting Falcons. The Chargers are 0-3 vs. the NFC South this season and played the Panthers, Buccaneers and Saints in Weeks 3-5 and allowed a combined 89 points in those setbacks.
