DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

Alexey Shved and Mike James have had some good duels in Moscow, but with the way this season has gone, Shved is the guy we can’t fade. It’s really tough, but I suppose not impossible, to get both in the same lineup. You have to be really comfortable with and nail your value picks though. I prefer to take Shved and hope he outscores James by 8-10 points.

Wade Baldwin had a ceiling game against Khimki in round 12. That makes sense since Khimki has allowed the most fantasy points to guards so far this year. Don’t expect another game like that even though Baldwin is priced like DraftKings is expecting it.

I honestly don’t know what to do with Norris Cole here. Round 12 was his worst EuroLeague game since crossing the pond around two years ago. Maybe he comes back strong. It’s the EuroLeague. Maybe he plays 12 minutes. It’s safer to avoid this situation.

Kevin Punter is emerging as a capable scorer for Milan. This is going to be a big test for him, but Punter has at least 20 DraftKings points in every game except for his first this year. He’s likely still worth the money and a lot safer than Cole.

I don’t know that I can in good conscious recommend any Zalgiris player right now, even in this plus matchup. If you must take the plunge, the only one I would really consider is Thomas Walkup. However, I think there is more upside on the other side of this matchup with Nihad Nedovic and Howard Sant-Roos.

Errick McCollum is a very streaky shooter. If he gets hot, he’s breaking the slate. If he’s cold, you’re getting four points. He has immense upside for the price if you’re trying to take down a GPP though.

Cory Higgins remains one of the safer non-starting options out there. He plays well in his role off the Barcelona bench, but he really only has a ceiling game in blowouts. Can they blow out Milan? I wouldn’t bet on it. This may be a day to pass on Higgins.

As long as Dedovic remains out, Nick Weiler-Babb is a strong replacement for him at a low price. He has virtually no upside though. The upside remains with Shelvin Mack. He burned us for a couple of rounds straight, but he showed signs of life in Round 12 and has a superb matchup today.
