Shemar Turner. 8. player. 873. . DE. Aggies

  • High School: DeSoto (DeSoto, TX)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 31, No. 4 SDE

Shemar Turner will be one of the top prizes on early National Signing Day. Turner will announce that day where he intends to play at the next level.

Turner is a five-star defensive end that racked up plenty of accolades through his high school career. At nearly 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, Turner’s stock is high because of his size and his productivity at the high school level.

Like a lot of the high-end defensive line recruits that come out of high school, Turner carries the versatility to play along the line depending on the scheme that he ends up in. And like those high-end talents, there’s countless videos and tape of him blowing up plays in the backfield before they ever begin.

He’s narrowed down his list of schools as the year has gone along and only one non-SEC school is on the list, Texas. The rest are all from a conference that produces an abundance of defensive at the NFL level.

The experts are set on thinking Turner is going to end up in College Station. Not only would be landing Turner be a win here for the Aggies but so is keeping him out of the SEC West and from Alabama.

Prediction: Texas A&M
