Start:

Cam Akers, LAR, vs. NYJ

Job took. Cam Akers has not only secured the starting job of the Los Angeles Rams but has clearly shown he is the superior running back for the remainder of the season. Akers has a chance to continue his dominance coming off the 171-yard game with a matchup against the New York Jets. Akers is going to run and run and run. Make sure he is in your lineups this week.

Jonathan Taylor, IND, vs. HOU

Jonathan Taylor is back, everyone. Taylor had a scary middle of the season that saw him fall out of favor for touches in the backfield but has now refound his impressive ability. He can continue against the Houston Texans. The same Texans that were gashed by David Montgomery last week and have been all year.

Jamal Williams, GB, vs. CAR

Yes, Aaron Jones is the man in Green Bay. We know that. But what we also know is that Jamal Williams is quite good in his own right and should get plenty of touches to warrant FLEX value this week and could be a surprising boom depending on game flow in what should be a one-sided affair.

Sit:

Ronald Jones, TB, @ ATL

Ronald Jones has claimed the job once and for all in Tampa Bay, as Leonard Fournette was a healthy scratch this past week. That being said, buyers should beware as Atlanta has shown to be good at stopping the run this season. It should be expected that the Buccaneers air it out, as that is the weakness of the Falcons defense.

Todd Gurley, ATL, vs. TB

Todd Gurley looked to be a solid bargain earlier this season, but injury woes and offensive struggles for the Falcons have led him to be nothing more than an RB3 at best. Gurley is going to have a tough day against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, who gave up their only 100 yard game of the season last week against Dalvin Cook. Todd Gurley in 2020 is not Dalvin Cook.

Giovani Bernard, CIN, vs. PIT

Giovani Bernard looked to be the perfect pickup this year when Joe Mixon‘s season was derailed due to injury. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been great and this backfield is the definition of a committee until Mixon returns. Sit him against Pittsburgh.
