The Eagles have invested some draft capital into the linebacker position via the likes of Nate Gerry and rookie Davion Taylor, but one-half of this duo is among the worst coverage players in the game and the other is barely getting on the field.

Philly’s linebacking corps gets picked apart on a weekly basis, and the only way to fix it in 2021 is to spend a premium pick on a potential star in the draft. With Penn State stud Micah Parsons likely not going be available when the Eagles pick, they could opt for the next-best option and select Moses, who has been running the show at Alabama for the last two seasons.

The Eagles clearly value athleticism at that position given the Taylor selection and trade for Duke Riley, and Moses more than fits that prototype. He isn’t a perfect prospect, however, as he is still too aggressive, which can lead to teams busting off big plays after getting him to go in the wrong direction. His 2019 tape is also much better than his 2020 tape.

Even with all of that, Moses’ speed and tackling ability will get him drafted high in the first round. The Eagles might be the best fit for Moses, as he could play right away and cement himself as a defensive cornerstone in Philadelphia.
