Playing at an MVP level and in a good spot, Aaron Rodgers might win some Week 15 fantasy matchups practically on his own.

With a league-leading 39 touchdown passes and just four interceptions through 13 games, Aaron Rodgers is toward the top of the conversation for NFL MVP. As expected, he’s QB4 in fantasy for the year entering Week 15.

In Week 15, the Packers will take on the Carolina Panthers. It’s a good matchup for Rodgers, as the Panthers are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks (19.48 per game, Yahoo! scoring).

Rodgers has multiple passing touchdowns in eight straight games (at least three seven times), with over 280 passing yards in seven of them. In six straight games, he has completed over 70 percent of his passes. Looking a little deeper, he has three or more total touchdowns in all eight of those contests.

Aaron Rodgers has a better matchup than it even seems like

As Frank Stampfl of CBS Sports noted, the Panthers have allowed three or more passing touchdowns in four of their last five games.

Three of those quarterbacks threw for over 300 yards (Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, and Kirk Cousins), and last week Drew Lock threw for 280 against them. Brady and Mahomes topped 30 fantasy points, Cousins topped 26 fantasy points and Lock had more than 25 fantasy points (Yahoo! scoring). Carolina has also not intercepted a pass since before that run (Matt Ryan in Week 8).

Rodgers is obviously (at least) on the level of Mahomes and Brady. It’s not a question of starting him in a fantasy lineup or not at this point, unless you took advantage of a suppressed ADP and drafted him as your QB2 (Example: I’m in a league where someone has Mahomes and Rodgers).

For most of Rodgers’ fantasy managers, it’s a matter of where the upside is each week far more than a start/sit decision with a parallel option to regard. In the semifinal week for most leagues, Rodgers is lined up to deliver (and lead) a lot of fantasy matchup wins.
