Running Back: Derrick Henry $10,200

The most expensive options are quite often one of the most popular. There’s a reason for that. Those who play daily fantasy usually do it because of how their own fantasy seasons went. They likely don’t have some of these top options on their team, so they spend big in daily fantasy to get those top options.

And that is actually a really good strategy. Especially when it’s Derrick Henry who’s is going on your team.

Henry has been awesome this entire season. Over the past three seasons, he’s been even better at the end of the season. In two of the past three weeks, Henry had more than 35 points. That is the kind of production that almost single-handedly gets players close to making money on their lineups.

This week, he’s facing a Detroit Lions team that has been terrible against the run. They don’t give up a ton of yards, but they do give up plenty of touchdowns. David Montgomery scored two touchdowns. Antonio Gibson scored two touchdowns. Todd Gurley scored two touchdowns. None of those players had over 100 yards.

Someone who did go off on the Lions was Dalvin Cook, who is on the same level as Henry. The Lions can’t stop runners from scoring, and Henry will take full advantage of that.
