Some weeks Dalvin Cook is considered the best running back in the business. Some weeks Derrick Henry personally announces that Cook is the best in the world. And then in other moments, the pendulum swings back to Henry, and we wonder why we flirted with Cook for the “best” title in the first place.

This is a Henry week.

Although, Dalvin Cook played wonderfully in a Vikings loss at Tampa Bay. Henry was simply better in Week 14. He gutted the childish Jaguars for 215 rushing yards and two scores. The Titans trampled Jacksonville 31-10 with visions of an AFC South crown in their purview. Sometimes the Titans are streaky with ups and downs, but in Week 14, Tennessee was cooking.

The Titans will continue to joust with the Colts for the division title as both teams are 9-4 on the season. Tennesee will square off with Detroit Lions this weekend, the Packers thereafter, and the Texans to close out this pandemic NFL season.

To win the MVP award, Henry probably needs 600 yards in these final three games. Possible not probable comes to mind.
