Philadelphia Eagles (4-8-1) at Arizona Cardinals (7-6), 4:05 pm

Eagles: Last week’s upset of the Saints marked just the second time in 13 games that the Eagles did not allow a sack. In the other 11 contests, Doug Pederson’s club surrendered 53 quarterback traps – three or more sacks in each of those outings. But Jalen Hurts’ lost fumble in fourth quarter made it 23 turnovers in 13 games this year.

Cardinals: Arizona’s pass rush gave the Giants plenty of issues last week as the team came up with eight sacks, five by linebacker Haason Reddick. Vance Joseph’s defensive unit has done a decent job getting after the quarterback despite losing Chandler Jones earlier in the season. The Cardinals have 37 sacks, just three less than all of last year.

New York Jets (0-13) at Los Angeles Rams (9-4), 4:05 pm

Jets: The club’s dismal campaign continued last week in the Pacific Northwest as the Jets fell by 37 points at Seattle. Now the team takes on the NFL’s top-ranked defense. In three previous games vs. NFC West teams this season, Adam Gase’s club has been outscored by the 49ers, Cardinals and Seahawks by a combined 101-263 score.

Rams: Following last week’s conquest of the Patriots, Sean McVay’s defensive unit now ranks first in the NFL in fewest total yards and fewest passing yards allowed while only the Buccaneers have given up fewer rushing yards. The last team to finish first in the league in all three categories in the same season was the ‘91 Philadelphia Eagles.
