Mike McCarthy’s club looked to win consecutive games for the first time this season and the Cowboys hung on to knock off the injury-riddled defending conference champions. Dallas forced San Francisco into four turnovers, quite significant considering the team had totaled only 14 takeaways in their first 13 contests this season. Veteran Andy Dalton threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns while Tony Pollard ran for 69 yards and a pair of scores.

It’s been a highly-disappointing season for the Purple Gang and the defense had another long day as they allowed the Bears to move up and down the field for 397 yards – including 199 on the ground. Dalvin Cook ran for 132 yards and one touchdown and Kirk Cousins threw for 271 yards and two scores. But he was also sacked three times and threw a critical pick. The Vikings have already allowed 388 points this season – 85 more than all of 2019.

It’s been a long year in Foxborough and it wound up being another frustrating contest in South Florida. The 10-point loss to the Dolphins not only resulted in the team being eliminated from the playoffs but there would be no 20th consecutive winning season. For the second straight week, New England’s run defense was completely overwhelmed, this time to the tune of 250 yards. Cam Newton was sacked three times and struggled throughout.
