The 2021 Pro Bowl rosters have been announced and now, we must celebrate.

Though the 2021 Pro Bowl will not be played this year due to the ongoing global pandemic, the AFC and NFC rosters were unveiled on Monday night shortly before kickoff of the Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals game.

Because there will not be a game played this year, there are no alternates for these rosters. This means anybody who did not earn a Pro Bowl designation at this time will not be getting one. In most years, players on teams that make it far into the NFL playoffs are replaced by alternates. The same principal applies to guys who are hurt or opt out from playing for whatever reason.

The Baltimore Ravens and the Kansas City Chiefs had the most AFC Pro Bowl selections this year at seven players apiece. Thirteen AFC franchise were able to get at least one player on this list. The only teams without a designation were the Cincinnati Bengals, the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets. This comes as no surprise, as these are the three worst teams in the NFL this season.

The Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks tied for the most Pro Bowlers in the NFC at seven players apiece. Fourteen NFC teams had at least one player make this roster. The only two teams that did not have a representative this year were the Carolina Panthers and the Dallas Cowboys. Once again, these are two of the worst teams in the league, so that is not a real surprise here.

What players do you believe were snubbed from making the Pro Bowl this year?
