Jalen Hurts –- Philadelphia Eagles

Hurts was the top scorer in both standard and PPR formats through in Week 15, having racked up 37.8 points with his remarkable performance in a losing effort for the Eagles at the Arizona Cardinals.

Despite his dazzling display in the desert, which saw Hurts throw for 338 yards and three touchdowns while running for 63 yards and a further score on the ground, Hurts probably won’t be a popular waiver wire add at this late stage.

Those who have made it through to the championship game of their fantasy league are unlikely to have a need at the quarterback position, even if Hurts would present an enticing fill-in as he goes against a Dallas Cowboys defense that surrendered 458 yards to a San Francisco 49ers offense piloted by Nick Mullens in Week 15.

A matchup with Dallas presents an opportunity for Hurts to replicate his stunning performance through the air and on the ground, but his ascent to the starting role in Philadelphia is likely of greater interest to dynasty league players than to fantasy managers looking to bring home the title.

It remains to be seen whether he will keep the starting job long term but, should he do so, Hurts will carry significant value to dynasty owners astute enough to invest a pick in the dual-threat signal-caller during their rookie draft.
