Logan Thomas –- Washington Football Team

After a quiet game in Week 14, Logan Thomas enjoyed his most productive game of a quietly very impressive season against a Seattle Seahawks defense that struggles to produce a complete performance even against an attack as inefficient as Washington’s.

With Alex Smith sidelined through injury, Thomas was the clear favorite target of Dwayne Haskins, hauling in 13 of his 15 targets for 101 yards, resulting in a PPR score of 23.1 points.

Though he failed to find the endzone for the second successive game, the volume Thomas gets in the passing game – he has 31 targets over the last three weeks – gives him upside in PPR formats going into a Week 16 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

Available in 33 percent of Yahoo leagues and 43 percent of ESPN leagues, fantasy managers who have made it through to the championship game but aren’t satisfied with their tight end or want another option at the flex position would be wise to consider making a final-week claim for Thomas.

Carolina’s defense has not produced ineptitude on the same level as that of the Seahawks, but the Panthers have typically been generous to opposing tight ends in 2020 and, in a must-win game for Washington, Thomas will be in a position to take advantage of their goodwill.
