With a six-man street fight, Charlotte Flair’s return to the red brand, and more, Monday’s edition of Monday Night Raw looked to pick up on the momentum from WWE TLC.

WWE TLC was less than 24-hours ago and to say there is a lot to talk about would be an understatement. Drew McIntyre successfully retained his WWE championship. The Hurt Business grabbed the Raw tag team titles and Charlotte returned to help Asuka win the WWE women’s tag team titles. The fallout from that and more was expected for Monday’s edition of WWE Raw.

The night started out with a women’s tag team match between Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, facing off against former champions, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax. Mandy and Dana were off to a strong start, but once Jax was tagged in she started to overpower them both.

It would not take long before Baszler and Jax were back in control, as Baszler isolated Rose to begin picking her apart. Rose and Brooke would not go away without a fight, nearly pinning Jax after a combination attack. Brooke almost had the match won, but she found herself in Baszler’s clutches, tapping to the submission.

Angel Garza was on Raw for the first time in a few months to compete in a single’s match against Drew Gulak. Garza tried to use his pants for the sneak attack, but Gulak was prepared. The two men had some fast-action back and forth moments, but Garza landed a surprise superkick, leading into the Wing Clipper to get the pinfall win over Gulak.

RETRIBUTION member T-Bar was out next to take on Ricochet in singles action. Right when the bell hit, Ricochet hit a big dropkick to try to get the bigger man off his feet. The high-flying act did not help once T-Bar caught him mid-technique and started to ragdoll him around the ring. Ricochet attempted to fight the numbers game, but that led to his eventual downfall. T-Bar landed a nasty knee after Ricochet attacked Mustafa Ali, allowing him to pin his opponent for the win.

Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle competed against two members of the Hurt Business, Bobby Lashley and MVP in tag team action.

Hardy rushed both opponents to start the match, quickly tagging out to Riddle, who ran into the freight train that is Lashley. Riddle was able to fight Lashley off long enough to get to his partner. Hardy got some offense in but could not keep Lashley on his back. Both Hardy and Riddle stood tall for a moment when they forced the members of the Hurt Business out of the ring.

Hardy ate a nasty bump from the top rope, crashing into the steel steps back first. MVP and Lashley continued to assault Hardy until Riddle got the tag. Hardy had an opportunity to win it with the Swanton Bomb, but he missed. Lashley then locked in the Hurt Lock to put Hardy away and give his team the win.

Jaxson Ryker was in the ring with Elias before being introduced to his opponent, Gran Metalik. This was all power in the squash match as Ryker beat Metalik up quickly. The match came to an end when Ryker hit a chokeslam – powerbomb combo to get the pinfall

The newly crowned women’s tag team champions were in action against Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans. Royce and Evans attempted to catch the champions by surprise. Things seemed to be working in their favor as they had Asuka cornered, taking turns beating down the double-champ. That continued until Charlotte was able to get into the ring and start to clean house. Royce was even fairing well against Flair until getting slammed on the back of her head. Flair needed very little time to lock on Figure Eight and get the victory.

The main event of the night was a six-man Holiday street fight. WWE champion, Drew McIntyre teamed with Keith Lee and Sheamus against AJ Styles, The Miz, and John Morrison.

The champion and company were in control early in this match. That was until Morrison landed a kick right to McIntyre’s kneecap, which was badly damaged during the TLC match on Sunday. This team was working well together until Sheamus and Lee started bickering in the middle of the ring. That would not stop them from continuing to stay on top in this match.

The match broke down into a near brawl, with all six men in the ring fighting. That left Sheamus isolated in the ring. All three men took their turns beating on the Irishmen, but he was able to create enough space to get to McIntyre. Things broke down as the weapons came out, with men getting put through tables and kendo sticks swinging. The end came with Lee hitting a big Sprit Bomb on the Miz to get the pinfall.
