Defense: Los Angeles Chargers $3,700

If you’re going to spend big on Christian McCaffrey, while still getting stars like Julio Jones and David Johnson, then that money has to come from somewhere. The defense is a perfect place to make up that score. The Los Angeles Chargers actually have a great matchup with the Denver Broncos in front of them.

Drew Lock has had a fumble or interception in nine-straight games. He’s a turnover machine this season. He was never the answer for the Broncos, but they are going to give it a try once again this week.

With Herbert starting at quarterback, this is hitting both sides of the ball against the Broncos. They are coming off two-straight blowouts, so the hope is the Chargers can make it three straight. The Chargers defense hasn’t been anything to go home about this season, but the talent is there. Joey Bosa has been waiting to explode. He could get three sacks this week alone going up against this offensive line.

Defenses have averaged more than 12 points per game against the Broncos. This is a great chance for the Chargers to break out.
