Fantasy football: FanDuel NFL 2020 best lineup for Week 16

Running Back: David Johnson $6,700

Deshaun Watson is desperate to find anyone to throw the ball to. Last week, he tried getting Keke Coutee involved, but he fumbled on the goalline to lose the Texans the game. Brandin Cooks is still recovering from injury. Will Fuller is out on suspension for the season. So now, Watson is looking to his running back to make plays.

He threw the ball to Johnson 11 times last week, and he caught every single one. He had 106 yards receiving, which adds to his pretty paltry 27 yards rushing. The Texans are finding ways to get something out of their compensation for DeAndre Hopkins. Johnson came to the Texans to provide a threat on the ground and in the passing game. Now that every other option seems to be off the table, he’s finally providing that.

Johnson is facing a terrible Cincinnati defense this week. The Bengals defense has allowed at least four receptions to running backs in four-straight games. Two weeks ago, they allowed over 100 yards receiving to Dolphins running backs.

Johnson would be a great play at this price. Ezekiel Elliott and Mike Davis are more expensive, and they’ve both been terrible as of late. Johnson at least has double-digit points in six of his last seven starts. He gets points for his fantasy players.
