. Quarterback. Washington Commanders. Mac Jones. 19. player. 58

The Washington Football Team has a serious long-term issue at the quarterback position, as Alex Smith is not the answer, and neither is Dwayne Haskins. As they move forward, they have to figure out what they want to do with the most important position group, and that could mean drafting Mac Jones in round one.

Jones looks like the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy and has everything you look for in an NFL quarterback. If he falls to the Washington Football Team, he gives them a legitimate long-term solution to the biggest problem on their roster.

20. player. 32. . Edge. Arizona Cardinals. Kwity Paye

The Arizona Cardinals still have a lot of work to do if they hope to get into the playoffs, and that includes taking care of what they can take care of. If they can win out, they will get into the playoffs, but if they falter, the Chicago Bears are waiting to take their Wild Card spot away from them.

Moving forward, the Cardinals have to continue to add talent to their defensive line, and a player like Kwity Paye could go a long way in improving their pass rush. The Cardinals have some dynamic weapons on both sides of the ball, and Paye would be an excellent addition this late in round one.

player. 59. . Wide Receiver. Miami Dolphins. Rashod Bateman. 21

The Miami Dolphins hold two first-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, after trading away Laremy Tunsil to the Houston Texans a few years back. With the pick they have earned for being one of the best teams in the AFC, they get Tua Tagovailoa a weapon, bringing in Rashod Bateman from Minnesota.

This is a kid who can really take the lid off a defense, and the more weapons they add around Tua, the better he is going to be. With this selection, the Dolphins add an elite talent on both sides of the ball, making their already-playoff roster that much better.
