College football DFS quarterback picks December 26:

Top Tier:

I do expect Malik Willis to play and I expect him to be the Liberty offense. CCU’s defense is solid, but we saw Troy rack up some points on them. They aren’t invincible. The same can be said for Liberty’s defense. Grayson McCall is not the only offensive weapon for the Chanticleers like Willis is for the Flames. For that reason, Willis is a much better play since the price is so close.

Middle Tier:

I could also argue that Levi Lewis is a better play than McCall based on how he is used in the Louisiana offense as well. UTSA might have the worst defense on the slate and Lewis is built to exploit that.

The Louisiana defense has been solid most of the year, but this UTSA offense is a fun one. Frank Harris is a playmaker all over the field. He’s a very accurate passer and can burn you with his speed. I really like the upside for Harris at this price.

Bargain Shoppers:

The Western Kentucky defense hasn’t been the problem. That makes Cornelius Brown a bit of a risk. However, he is a very good passer. Brown finished off the season with back-to-back games of over 300 passing yards. WKU can slow him down, but not that much. There’s a lot of potential for this price.

I expected a much better season for Maryland transfer Tyrrell Pigrome. For all of the ups and downs, Pigrome still didn’t throw an interception this year in nine games. He takes care of the ball and is a legitimate dual threat. The issue is the strength of the Georgia State defense. I don’t mind throwing a dart with Pigrome in GPP’s though.
