College football DFS wide receiver picks December 26:

Top Tier:

Jaivon Heiligh is the most well known receiver on this slate, but Sam Pinckney could be the one that breaks the slate. The CCU offense runs through Marable. The Georgia State offense runs through the passing game and Pinckney is far and away the leading receiver. He is guaranteed double digit targets. I’m not sure Heiligh is.

Middle Tier:

As the season progressed, Zakhari Franklin helped expand the UTSA passing game. This is not an easy matchup for the Roadrunners, but Franklin is still going to be heavily involved in the game.

Pinckney is targeted more, but Cornelius McCoy is more explosive. McCoy feels really cheap as arguably the primary option in the most prolific passing attack on this slate.

Bargain Shoppers:

Now we get to the point where we need to decide if Josh Cephus as the UTSA second option or Isaiah Likely as the second option for CCU will be better than Western Kentucky’s top option, Mitchell Tinsley. Dakota Thomas, the true freshman, had his first action of the season against Charlotte and outdid Tinsley. Thomas is a risk, but if WKU keeps going back to him, he’s a hell of a bargain.

Louisiana is a run first and run second offense. There isn’t much to go around in the passing attack. On the season, Kyren Lacy has been the most consistent option. However, of late Jalen Williams has hauled in more passes. Everything in this passing game is a risk though.

Roger Carter as the third option for Georgia State may be safer than anything Louisiana has to offer. I know why you’re here though. You want the sleeper. The one that most may overlook. That would have to be Dayton Wade. Wade missed the last month with an undisclosed injury but is making his return in this game. Wade had 19 receptions for 170 yards in the three games before he went down. Thomas will likely cut in on his action a little, but Wade is so cheap that he’s worth a look.
