Sunday, Dec. 27

New York Giants (5-9) at Baltimore Ravens (9-5), 1:00 pm

Giants: Be it second-year pro Daniel Jones or veteran Colt McCoy, the team’s offense – ranked next-to-last in total yards gained per game – has struggled even more as of late. Joe Judge’s club has failed to reach the 20-point mark in four straight outings. In 14 contests, the Giants’ limited offensive unit has reached the end zone only 21 times.

Ravens: After three straight losses, the Ravens have rebounded with three consecutive victories and totaled 121 combined points in besting the Cowboys, Browns and Jaguars, respectively. In those wins, the Ravens have scored 15 offensive TDs and Lamar Jackson has thrown six touchdown passes (2 interceptions) and run for four more.

Cincinnati Bengals (3-10-1) at Houston Texans (4-10), 1:00 pm

Bengals: The team got just its third win of 2020 via the Monday night upset of the Steelers but it is one more victory than Zac Taylor’s club managed during his debut campaign. Pressuring Pro Bowl-bound Texans’ quarterback Deshaun Watson is essential this week. Cincinnati’s pass rush has produced a mere 16 sacks in 14 outings this year.

Texans: From consecutive division titles to a 4-10 record, the Texans have lost double-digit games for the first time since their 4-12 showing and last-place finish in the AFC South in 2017. There’s plenty of blame to go around but the defense has been subpar for three straight years. This season, Houston has forced an NFL-low eight turnovers.
