NBA DFS Point Guards:

I do like Westbrook if he plays since they have already decided to give him a day off. Russ’s minutes wont be limited. Ben Simmons may be nice against New York, but I don’t trust him.

Dame has slate breaking ability here. This is a superb matchup against the depleted Rockets. If you think Harden can keep the Rockets in the game by himself, Lillard is elite. A  prospective blowout does make me nervous though.

If you pay close attention to volume, De’Aaron Fox is your guy. Fox hucked 20 shots in the opener on a team full of shooters. It would be nice if he made some though. Still, this shows clearly just how far Fox is ahead of rookie Tyrese Haliburton.

SGA is the best player the Thunder have left and has a solid matchup with Charlotte. He is worth mentioning because the middle tier of point guards is rather weak. This looks like a position to spend up on or punt. If you play on FanDuel, do one of each.

The choice between a cold Chris Paul and a hot Collin Sexton really is no contest. This is a nice matchup for Sexton and he lit up a solid Charlotte team on Wednesday. The most interesting part of that matchup last week wasn’t Sexton though. It was veteran Terry Rozier, who put up a staggering 42 points. Maybe he wont have trouble keeping LaMelo bench bound after all…..

The matchup doesn’t look great for Dejounte Murray, but the usage is going to be very high again with White still out. Don’t fall for the traps of Rose and Rubio. Both played poorly in the openers for their respective teams. I want to see something from them, especially since we’ve seen something from Murray.

You know, if Shake Milton is going to play 30 minutes a game off the bench, we need to take notice. The value tier is a very dangerous place to live early on in the season. The only other one I would even consider here right now is Cory Joseph. He had a strong game off the bench for the Kings as well.
