NBA DFS Small Forwards:

We can play the DeRozan narrative against Toronto, but I don’t trust this matchup for the Spurs. This feels like the time to ride the Spurs value and fade the expensive guys.

SF is a little thin because I’ll never fully trust Tobias Harris on this team no matter the matchup. I also don’t trust anything Knicks. Give me a good old T.J. Warren against the Bulls any day. There’s far less risk.

The Jazz really missed Bojan Bogdanovic in the bubble over the summer. He’s back and facing a Minnesota team that is very fun to watch, but their defense is very giving. Even when it isn’t the Holiday season.

It’s very possible that Keldon Johnson had a ceiling game for the Spurs on Wednesday. It seems unlikely that he’ll have the same success against the Raptors. Patrick Williams, the guy who kept Otto Porter chained to the pine in his return, is a much better option and comes at a much lower price.

Danuel House is cheap and starting for a depleted team. House does a lot of things well, so he’s not much of a risk. Honestly, the bottom of SF is rather loaded on both sites. Williams, Josh Jackson, and Isaac Okoro all looked strong in the opener so you may not even need the value of House.

It was nice to see Deni Avdija play 28 minutes on the court with Westbrook and Beal in the opener, but he was mostly invisible. If Russ is out, lock in Avidja. Even if he isn’t, Avdija is a solid value play due to the minutes alone.
