Dating back to 2012, the Rams had gotten the best of the series with Russell Wilson and the Seahawks, owning a 10-7 edge in 17 previous meetings. And a victory would put the team in the playoffs.

But Sean McVay’s offense was stifled in the Pacific Northwest to the tune of three field goals while quarterback Jared Goff served up another interception. Los Angeles limited the explosive Seattle attack to 292 total yards but failed to force a turnover.

The Cards were at home for a Sunday afternoon clash with the 49ers and in position to sweep this NFC West rivalry for the fifth time in six years dating back to 2015.

The defense was gashed for 227 yards on the ground while Kyler Murray had 75 of his team’s 125 rushing yards. He was also sacked three times and while he threw for 247 yards, the Cardinals’ offense managed only one touchdown. And Murray was picked off in the end zone late in final moments.

With the Cardinals’ loss on Saturday, the Bears were now in control of their playoff fate and two wins would put them in the playoffs. And rejuvenated quarterback Mitch Trubisky again led the way as the team totaled 30-plus points for the fourth straight week.

Trubisky threw for 265 yards and two scores (one interception) and also ran for one touchdown. Tight end Jimmy Graham had both touchdown grabs and a hustling defensive unit picked off Mike Glennon twice.
