23. A home run for the cardboard masses

The 2020 season had been postponed since March due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This image was from MLB Opening Day, with the Los Angeles Dodgers kicking off their season against the San Francisco Giants amid the pandemic. It was taken from a center field camera that I set up before the start of the game and triggered from my photo position at first base. I wanted to show the cardboard cutout fans, which teams put in the seats in an attempt to add some ambiance to the stadium since actual fans were not allowed. This two-run homerun and dominant 8-1 victory for the Dodgers was the beginning of their championship season.
