Josh Allen – Buffalo Bills

Allen won’t win the MVP award despite his incredible third year for the Buffalo Bills, but he has an excellent case for being considered the fantasy football MVP following a stellar campaign in which he made remarkable progress as a thrower while retaining his ability to make plays with his legs.

He finished the year top of the pile in terms of fantasy points scored by quarterbacks, racking up 405.06 at an average of 25.32. Kyler Murray was his closest challenger with 390.74 points.

Six weeks of the season saw Allen put up over 30 fantasy points, who had 42 total touchdowns, 34 coming through the air and eight on the ground.

His incredible exploits throughout a regular-season campaign in which Buffalo won its first AFC East title since 1995 are unlikely to see him become one of the first players off the board in fantasy leagues next season, with wide receivers and running backs still valued significantly higher than quarterbacks.

Allen’s consensus average draft position in 2020 put him ninth among quarterbacks. Following a year in which he outperformed all his peers in terms of fantasy production, you can expect him to be off the board much earlier come draft time in 2021.
