The Utah Jazz are giving back to the community following every win this season.
The Utah Jazz are under new ownership with billionaire Ryan Smith leading the organization. He showed up and paid Rudy Gobert, proving there is a commitment to chase a championship with the current core of talent that is already in place.
But Smith is going beyond just helping the players on the team. He has recently revealed a plan to help those in underrepresented and minority groups get a college education for free.

Utah Jazz giving back
The commitment is to give a full, four-year scholarship for every Jazz win this season. As expected, some replies on social media are against this plan for one reason for another. But that won’t matter to those receiving the scholarships.
More details will surely come out on this great plan from Smith and the Jazz. Hopefully, this becomes an annual program and the organization can track those receiving the scholarships to see what they accomplished over time.
So far this season, the Jazz have four wins and will have a chance at a fifth Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. They remain a top contender in the Western Conference, so this number is going to continually rise throughout the year.

Fans have a reason to be excited with Smith as the owner. He is a BYU graduate and is a local who now owns his favorite team. The fact he is already looking to give back to those in underrepresented groups also shows he is in touch with modern society and should only be the beginning of such programs from the organization.
