AFC East . . New York Jets . player. Pick Analysis. 2. 30. Scouting Report

Yes, the New York Jets are the biggest joke in the NFL. After setting themselves up in the “Tank for Trevor” sweepstakes, Adam Gase got serious and decided to beat a pair of playoff teams. Even when trying to be bad, New York screws it up.

The No. 2 pick will come with multiple options heading into April. Ultimately, the next head coach will have to decide to either keep Sam Darnold for another year or select a QB. If their scheme doesn’t fit Darnold’s plan, consider him out.

New York has roughly $70.6 million in cap space heading into the offseason. They also will have four first-round picks over the next two years. A young receiver like Denzel Mims was brought in as the vertical option while Jamison Crowder has owned the slot.

Joe Douglas understands how bad a team can be without proper receivers, as he watched Carson Wentz’s struggle in Philadelphia for years.

If Robinson wants to remain the No. 1 guy and get paid like it, gang green is the place to be. The Jets can make him an offer he can’t easily refuse just because of the situation. Plus, imagine if the Jets do turn things around because of him?
