Eagles draft rumors, Rashawn Slater

Offensive Tackle. Dallas Cowboys. Rashawn Slater. 10. player. 123.

The Dallas Cowboys have to get their priorities straight this offseason, and that means locking up quarterback Dak Prescott to a long-term deal. This guy is the face of the franchise, and once they get him under contract, they need to focus on protecting him better than they have been. With pick No. 10 overall, the Cowboys should look to target one of the few elite offensive tackles in this draft class, bringing in Rashawn Slater from Northwestern. Keeping Prescott upright is the most important thing for this franchise moving forward, and Slater helps them do just that.

31. . Edge. New York Giants. Kwity Paye. 11. player

The New York Giants have to be upset with the way the season wrapped up, as they took care of business against the Dallas Cowboys, only to see the Philadelphia Eagles seemingly tank against the Washington Football Team. The win by the Football Team meant the Giants lost the NFC East title, and they will now settle for the No. 11 pick overall. With the pick, they have to do something to address the edge rusher spot, and they get a good one in the player of Kwity Paye from Michigan. The Giants’ defense was actually pretty great at times this season, and Paye helps them fill a void on that side of the ball.

Caleb Farley. 12. player. 42. . Cornerback. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers were one of the more disappointing teams in the NFC this season, as they just could not play consistent football, and failed to hang in with the likes of Seattle and Los Angeles. Still, there is a ton of talent on this roster, and injuries really played a part in 2020, so figure them to be back in the fold next season. However, their defensive backfield is aging, and Richard Sherman is likely not coming back to the Bay Area. Replacing him is Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley, who would be an outstanding pick at No. 12 overall, and breathe new life into this 49ers secondary.
