Get ready for the LeBron JamesMichael Jordan debate to spill over to their acting careers.

LeBron will star in Space Jam: A New Legacy, which is expected to be released on July 16 on HBO Max and where theaters are open.

Ever since the project was announced with LeBron, the excitement and anticipation have been high. The original movie with Michael Jordan was a timeless classic and remains one of the best of the genre more than two decades later.

Don Cheadle and Sonequa Martin-Green co-star with LeBron. Malcolm D. Lee directs. The movie was written by Sev Ohanian and Ryan Coogler.
