Dak Prescott has epic response to awful Cowboys stat

The Dallas Cowboys have struggled since the 1990s and Dak Prescott is ready to change that. 

AFC, NFC, it doesn’t matter. Tom Brady is still the king of the NFL and showed why on Sunday night against the New Orleans Saints.

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 30-20 victory over New Orleans, Brady will move on to his 14th Conference Championship. The 43-year-old is an ageless wonder that refuses to go away for the next generation of quarterbacks to take over the top spot.

Then again, when you’re eating avocado ice cream and looking better than most 30-year-olds, who’s stopping you from doing whatever you want? Brady finished 18-of-33 for 199 yards and two touchdowns on the way to a win.

Naturally, the attention will turn back to the Dallas Cowboys, who always claim to be the best team in the conference. Jerry Jones is still chasing his days from the 90’s, looking to bring that glory into the 21st century.

Since 1997, Dallas hasn’t made it to the NFC Championship game. Brady, in his lone season with the Buccaneers, has already made it. Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had to comment on the situation, telling running back Ezekiel Elliott to “hold his crutches” while he would handle the business.

Prescott could be the quarterback of the future for Dallas or leave this offseason

Dallas was a favorite to win the NFC East this season in large part due to their offense with Prescott. All that changed in Week 5 when the fifth-year quarterback suffered an ankle injury that forced him to miss the remainder of the 2020 season.

Prescott played in five games, finishing with1,856 passing yards and nine touchdowns against five interceptions. The Cowboys would finish 6-10 on the season, claiming the No.10 in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Heading into the offseason, the Cowboys will once again be entering negations with Prescott. The team has expressed interest in potentially franchise tagging him for a second season, thus making his yearly salary $38 million in 2021.

Could Pescott instead look to leave the team and start fresh somewhere else? Naturally, the former mid-round gem would like to stay with the team, but who’s to say if the two parties can come to an agreement.

Hopefully, Dallas won’t be without Prescott so that way he can lead the team back to the NFC title game. If fans are lucky enough, maybe Brady will be his opponent in 2021.
