NFL draft rumors, Zach Wilson

44. . Quarterback. Atlanta Falcons. Zach Wilson. 4. player

The Atlanta Falcons got the head coach they wanted, bringing in Arthur Smith to replace Raheem Morris, who took over for Dan Quinn in the interim during the 2020 season. In Smith, they get a guy taking the helm of a franchise for the first time, but someone who was a well-sought after candidate.

In turning to a new head coach, the Falcons may also hit the reset button on the quarterback position, bringing in Zach Wilson with pick No. 4. Wilson is starting to get buzz as the No. 2 quarterback in this draft, and he would land with a team with a ton of weapons in Atlanta.

. Wide Receiver. Cincinnati Bengals. Ja'Marr Chase. 5. player. 56

The Cincinnati Bengals have been receiving good news about quarterback Joe Burrow, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft that tore his knee up as a rookie. It looks like Burrow could be on track to start Week 1 in 2021, and that means the team needs to not only do a better job in protection but also get him some weapons.

Ja’Marr Chase is widely considered a top-3 wideout in this draft class, and he would be an excellent fit in this Bengals offense. Remember, there is no A.J. Green next season, so for Chase, this is a spot where he can come in and be a starter right away, joining his former teammate at LSU.

. Cornerback. Philadelphia Eagles. Patrick Surtain II. 6. player. 54

The Philadelphia Eagles decided to fire head coach Doug Pederson, which likely means that Carson Wentz is not going anywhere. It remains to be seen who they will bring in as the new head coach, but whoever it is, they have to figure out whether it will be Wentz or Jalen Hurts who leads this team at quarterback moving forward.

On the other side of the ball, the Eagles are in desperate need of help in the secondary, and they get some with Patrick Surtain II from Alabama. This kid is ready to come in and be a CB1 at the next level, and in Philadelphia, he would get a chance to do just that.
