2021 NFL Mock Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars get Urban Meyer a quarterback

The Detroit Lions are another team that needed to fill their head coaching spot this offseason, after finally ending the Matt Patricia era in the Motor City. In his place, the Lions will turn to former NFL tight end Dan Campbell, who was recently an assistant head coach with the New Orleans Saints.
With Campbell’s first pick for the Lions, he should bring in the best defensive player in this draft class, adding talented Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons. As a new head coach, he likely will stick with Matthew Stafford, instead choosing to fill positions that are of actual need this offseason.
The Carolina Panthers had a tough go of it during the 2020 NFL season, as star running back Christian McCaffrey missed a bunch of time, and they had a first-time NFL head coach. McCaffrey will be back next season, and Matt Rhule should continue to get better as a coach, but the question is whether or not Teddy Bridgewater is the long-term answer.
Justin Fields is one of the top quarterbacks in this draft class, and it is certainly possible that teams are going to move up to get him. If he is available at No. 8, Rhule and his staff cannot afford to pass him up, as he would be the future at the position in Carolina.
The Denver Broncos have had Drew Lock as their franchise quarterback for two years now, and nothing would indicate that he is the long-term solution at the position. You never know what you are going to get with him from week to week, and it would not surprise if the team went in another direction this offseason.
Many feel that Trey Lance is one of the best quarterbacks in this draft class, and he would be a nice fit in Denver. They have some very good young pieces at the skill positions, and he has the talent to get plays done with his arm and his legs.
