4. WR Marvin Jones

While you probably weren’t looking, Jones had another productive season for the Detroit Lions in 2020 (76 receptions for 978 yards and nine touchdowns). In three of his five seasons in Detroit, he had nine touchdowns and (h/t to CBS Sports) he’s the only player in the NFL with nine or more touchdowns in each of the last two seasons.

Baltimore’s league-worst pass offense yielded two guys with more than 50 catches and 700 yards (Marquise Brown and Mark Andrews). Brown is a boom-or-bust deep threat and little more, and he can be rendered ineffective too often and easily with defensive scheme.

To accelerate Jackson’s development as a passer, and justify a significant future investment in him that’s coming soon, the Ravens have to do something at wide receiver. A deep free agent class at the position offers options, and no excuses for falling short of making a notable move. Signing Jones would broadly beg for another addition at wide receiver, but he’s an easy target for Baltimore with or without a bigger name added to the mix too.
