The Los Angeles Lakers embarked on a long road trip this week and got off to a great start with a win over the Milwaukee Bucks. They are now in Chicago to take on a Bulls team that is off to a surprising start this season.

The Bulls enter with a record of 7-8 and have won three straight. Zach LaVine is leading the way with over 27 points per game and new head coach Billy Donovan seems to be connecting with his team much better than Jim Boylen ever could.

Now the Lakers are in town looking to spoil the fun. LeBron James’ squad has a record of 12-4 and is a perfect 8-0 on the road this season. James had 34 points on Thursday against the Bucks and the defense held Giannis Antetokounmpo in check with only 25 points.

A Bulls win Saturday night would get the team to .500 and would also provide a huge boost to an organization that hasn’t been to the postseason since 2017. The Fred Hoiberg and Boylen years were basically a wash and the entire franchise can take a step forward Saturday by proving they can compete with anyone.

Meanwhile, this game isn’t special for the Lakers as they expect to win each and every night.
