. Offensive Tackle. Los Angeles Chargers. Christian Darrisaw. 13. player. 13

The Los Angeles Chargers found their franchise quarterback during the 2020 NFL Draft, selecting Oregon star Justin Herbert. As a rookie, Herbert set the NFL on fire and the franchises in great hands with him moving forward.

Now, the franchise has to turn their focus to protecting him, and they do so by selecting Virginia Tech offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw with the No. 13 overall pick. Darrisaw has the strength and size to come in and start on the left side right away at the NFL level, protecting Hebert’s blindside for the foreseeable future in Los Angeles.

14. player. 60. . Offensive Lineman. Minnesota Vikings. Wyatt Davis

Minnesota Vikings have to do something to shore up the interior of their offensive line this off-season, and they start that rebuild by selecting Wyatt Davis from Ohio State with the No. 14 overall pick. Dalvin Cook is one of the premier running backs in the NFL, and Kirk Cousins can still get it done in the passing game, but they both need better protection up front.

Minnesota plays in a tough division, as they have to take on the likes of the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears, two playoff teams, twice a season. Being able to move the ball consistently is only going to help them as they challenge for the division next year, as they have the talent on both sides of the ball to do so.

47. . Tight End. New England Patriots. Kyle Pitts. 15. player

The New England Patriots will have to sit next Sunday and watch their former leader play in the Super Bowl, as Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers punched their ticket to the big game this past Sunday. For the Patriots, replacing Brady proved to be a tough test this past year, as Cam Newton really struggled down the stretch for them, and they finish the season outside of the playoffs.

Sitting with a middle first-round draft pick, the Patriots are not able to replace Brady, but they can replace one of his favorite targets in Rob Gronkowski. With this pick, the Patriots select Florida standout tight and Kyle Pitts, who has that pass-catching ability from the tight position that a team needs to make deep runs in the playoffs.
