16. player. 32. . Cornerback. Arizona Cardinals. Jaycee Horn

The Arizona Cardinals will go into the 2021 NFL season as a team to watch, this after nearly making the playoffs in Kyler Murray’s second season as their quarterback. The offense got a big boost the season with the addition of DeAndre Hopkins in a trade with the Houston Texans, and they should continue to be explosive on that side of the ball.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Cardinals still need help, and that includes bringing in some cornerbacks for the defensive backfield. Jaycee Horn from South Carolina is one of the elite corners in this draft class, and he can immediately step in and start on this Cardinals defense that will need to be better next season if they hope to get over the hump in the NFC.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. 17. player. 28. . Linebacker. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot of work to do on the defensive side of the ball heading into next season, and that includes getting better on all three levels. One area where the franchise has struggled recently is at the linebacker spot, and they can make a big splash by adding a Notre Dame‘s Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah with pick No. 17 in the first round.

Unlike the past two years, the Raiders do not have multiple first-round picks in 2021, so they will need to make sure they pull the trigger on the correct prospect here. In Owusu-Koramoah, they get a guy that this defense has been lacking for years, as he can play sideline to sideline, is great in coverage and is in elite tackler.

Linebacker. Miami Dolphins. Zaven Collins. 18. player. 59.

As stated earlier, the Miami Dolphins hold two first-round picks in 2021, and after bolstering the offense with their first pick, they help out the defense here. With the No. 18 overall pick, the Dolphins bring in talented linebacker Zaven Collins, a player who cannot only excel at the linebacker spot but come up and play the edge as well.

The Dolphins are only a few pieces away from being a legitimate contender in the AFC, this after finishing last season with 1ten wins. Brian Flores definitely has his team trending in the right direction, and with two first-round picks this April, they are going to be even better on paper next season.
