Re-signing Milano is something the Bills should want to do this offseason. Keeping Williams on the roster is something Buffalo has to find a way to do.

The Bills’ move to land Williams on a one-year, $2.25 million deal was one of the best values in free agency last offseason. Now it’s time for Buffalo to pay Williams like the high-level starter that he is.

His borderline dominant play at right tackle was a big reason why Allen’s play took such a big step forward last year. He never had to worry about pressure coming at him from the opposing left defensive end position. Williams shut oncoming pass-rushers down with his combination of size and outstanding technique.

Now the 28-year-old right tackle has a chance to turn his strong 2020 season into a big contract in free agency. It remains to be seen whether or not the Bills can manufacture enough cap space to keep him. If he is allowed to head elsewhere, they’ll need to spend a high draft pick to replace him.
