1. Lavonte David, LB

Lavonte David is getting ready to wrap up the final campaign of his five-year, $50 million deal with the Buccaneers. Come this offseason, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent. While David is a stud linebacker, the chances of Tampa Bay paying him this offseason is slim to none.

David has been sensational for the Bucs, posting at least 100 tackles in eight of nine seasons with the team. David just turned 31 years old and has made it clear he’s still got plenty left in the tank to help out a team’s defense.

How great would it be to see him close out his Tampa Bay career with a Super Bowl ring? As much as fans would love to see him come back in 2021, the Bucs likely won’t be able to afford him unless there’s a huge discount given. You can’t expect that to happen.

Because of that, some team out there will likely provide David with a head-turning offer he’s looking for. We’ll see if he and the Bucs can finish things out with a bang.
