The Bills face a tough challenge in their quest to retain Matt Milano in free agency. Even if they do find a way to bring the coverage linebacker back into the fold, the group can still use a meaningful boost of athleticism via the draft.

Moses is a player who arguably shouldn’t last until Round 3. He’s got elite range for the position and showed a real mean streak during his collegiate career at Alabama. The only reason he stands a chance of still being on the board at this juncture in the draft is due to the lack of value the NFL currently places on the linebacker position.

The Bills will be particularly interested in Moses because he can make plays all over the field. He’s the rare linebacker prospect who should enter the league with the ability to rush the passer on blitzes and hold up in a fair number of matchups in coverage.

Moses can’t be a like-for-like replacement for Milano, but he can give Buffalo a versatile player who can stay on the field for all three downs. Finding that kind of value in Round 3 is a clear win for any team.
