Tyrann Mathieu. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. S. 124. Kansas City Chiefs. 6. player

What can’t Tyrann Mathieu do? He currently leads the entire NFL postseason rosters with tackles at 20. He also finished the regular season with six interceptions, nine pass deflections and a fumble recovery. He also knows how to get into opponents heads.

Mathieu is a playmaker more than a safety. He flies to the football, will play the run, can excel in coverage and also is one of the best wrap-up tacklers at his position.

Tampa Bay will have two options in the slot for Mathieu to cover. If Antonio Brown or Rob Gronkowski is even a second behind Brady’s pass, the Honey Badger will pounce. There’s a good shot before the night’s over he leads the team in tackles and turnovers.

5. player. 48. EDGE. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Shaquil Barrett. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

This came down to three players. Devin White will be making plenty of noise up the middle. Meanwhile, Jason Pierre-Paul is coming off a two-sack game against Green Bay. However, Shaquil Barrett is about as hot as they come entering Sunday.

Last season, Barrett was the superstar of the NFL, leading the league with 19.5 sacks. That number was cut in half under the franchise tag, but the playoffs were supposed to show the full potential. Without David Bakhtiari to protect Aaron Rodgers’ blindside, Barrett managed to tally three sacks on the afternoon.

L.C. Greenwood has the record of four sacks (unofficially, sacks weren’t official until 1982) in a Super Bowl with the Steelers. If Barrett makes it five, there’s no denying he’s walking away with more than just a contract extension this offseason.
