After an extremely disappointing Super Bowl 55 loss, Patrick Mahomes’s fiancée Brittany Matthews had to clap back at an online troll.

Super Bowl 55 didn’t go how Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs had hoped it would. The Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers protected their home turf at Raymond James Stadium and stopped the Chiefs from repeating as Super Bowl champs. The ‘baby goat’ didn’t get the protection he needed from a depleted offensive line and will have to simply try again next season like everyone else.

Dealing with the aftermath of a huge loss is always humbling. While Mahomes always seems to say the right things, the ladies in his life are much more forward. His mother Randi poked fun at Brady’s wife Giselle on Twitter for the game’s awful officiating. Now, it looks like his fiancée Brittany is clapping back at a troll.

Mahomes’s fiancée corrects troll on Twitter

Fans often take sports too far and forget that athletes and their families are real people. Mahomes’s fiancée Brittany had to remind one troll of that after the Super Bowl loss.

Brittany chose to take the high road in this one. The Mahomes will surely bounce back but they’re definitely protective of their own.

Next. Mathieu calls Brady out in a tweet then deletes it. dark
