1. Super Bowl 56 favorites – Kansas City Chiefs

The clear favorite to win the Super Bowl is still the Chiefs, who have gone to back-to-back Super Bowls now. Kansas City has done a tremendous job building a sustainable winner that should keep the Chiefs in the mix for years to come.

A lot of key role players will hit free agency but all of the Chiefs’ core assets are under contract for next season. The most important is obviously quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is the league’s best player and still ascending at age 25.

Head coach Andy Reid is also still around to get the best out of this roster, which has a chance to make history and become a rare team to get to three straight Super Bowls. Selling that history-making opportunity will be important since the thing that can slow down Kansas City is complacency.

Even with that potential obstacle, having the game’s most talented quarterback/head coach combo and a loaded roster is one heck of a head start. Expect the Chiefs to be right in the hunt for another Lombardi Trophy next February at SoFi Stadium out in Los Angeles.
