3. Super Bowl 56 favorites – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers just played in the Super Bowl at their home stadium and would love to get back next year. Any team with Tom Brady under center can’t be counted out and the greatest quarterback of all time has no intention of hanging it up anytime soon.

Most NFL experts thought that the nucleus of a contender was in place in Tampa Bay but Brady’s arrival really supercharged the roster. Even though Brady had some issues in the postseason the Buccaneers were able to rely on his playoff experience to get all the way to the big game.

There are a few reasons why Tampa Bay isn’t a clear choice to get back to the big game. The Buccaneers have a few key free-agent decisions to make this offseason with Shaq Barrett and Chris Godwin set to hit the market. Losing either would be a significant blow.

The other question here is how much longer Brady can sustain an elite level of play. Brady will play the 2021 season at 44 years old and has managed to defy normal aging so far, but time always wins, so it will be a matter of if he can turn back the clock for one more year.
