5 free agents the Buccaneers must sign this offseason
Will Donovan Smith be brought back next season? The left tackle has been one of the stronger pieces of the offensive success this postseason, but fans have grown accustomed to his inconsistencies.
Tampa could look to the draft to find the long-term option at left tackle. They struck gold last season with Tristian Wirfs, who played at a Pro Bowl level on the right side. On top of that, the Buccaneers could move off Alex Cappa and lose swing tackle Joe Haeg to free agency.
Feiler started this season for the Steelers as a guard. However, when looking back on his career, the 28-year-old has played both guard roles and the right tackle spot. Could he a better swing tackle replacement?
Teams are always looking for a sixth lineman who can play multiple roles. If Smith struggles, Feiler is the fill-in until the franchise can get their rookie ready to play. Should an injury occur, there’s your utility man in the trenches.
Feiler will cost a tad more due to his versatile skills, but he might be the cheapest offensive lineman who is decent on the market.
