Golladay might slot in just behind Godwin on most free agent rankings, but he gets a boost on this list because he’s more likely to leave his current team. The Lions look set to enter into a serious rebuild which could allow Golladay to bolt for greener pastures.
Of course, Detroit also has the power to use the franchise tag to keep him for another season. The bet here is that the Lions don’t want to tie themselves down to a wide receiver who might not really fit their timeline for future contention.
The Giants should have no such reservations about handing Golladay a long-term deal. His combination of size and speed on the outside would do wonders to unlock their offense.
