1. Aaron Jones

Jones is the best running back available in this year’s free agent class by a wide margin. There might be some understandable concerns about how he will perform outside the comfortable confines of the Packers offense, but he’s got the athletic gifts required to put up numbers in any offensive system.

Early indications from Green Bay are that they aren’t interested in paying Jones big money. It’s unclear what team might be willing to hand a running back a sizable contract this offseason. That’s the one question Jones’ representatives need to answer as soon as free agency begins.

There really isn’t much Jones can’t do from the running back position. He’s a slashing back that can turn small cracks in the defensive line into sizable gains. He may not have elite track speed, but he still has enough juice to run away from defenders in the open field.

He’s also blossomed into a real weapon for Aaron Rodgers in the team’s passing game. He’s a cut behind stars like Kamara and McCaffrey in that regard, but he deserves to be mentioned in the next tier. Add it all up and he’s a big-time weapon for any offense in the market for a potential All-Pro at the running back position.
